Exceptional GCSE Results at The English College Dubai

At GCSE level, students demonstrated impressive attainment across a broad range of subjects. With 92% of all entries graded between 9 and 4 and an overall pass rate of 99%, students have built strong academic foundations that will support their progression into Sixth Form and beyond. These outcomes reflect consistent effort, high expectations and a supportive learning environment where every learner is encouraged to achieve their personal best.

Among the many individual successes, several students achieved exceptional results:

  • Malak achieved seven Grade 9s and one Grade 8
  • Sarah achieved seven Grade 9s, one Grade 8 and one Grade 6
  • Leah achieved seven Grade 9s and one Grade 8

A Level and BTEC Success Across Sixth Form

This success continues into Sixth Form, where A Level and BTEC students have achieved remarkable outcomes across a wide range of disciplines. With 43% of A Level entries awarded A to A grades and 85% graded A to C, students have demonstrated both depth of knowledge and academic ambition.

Alongside this, BTEC students have achieved strong results, showcasing the value of diverse pathways that support different learning styles and aspirations.

University Destinations and Future Pathways

These achievements have enabled students to secure places at leading universities across the world, including the University of Cambridge, University of Edinburgh and New York University Abu Dhabi. Mikaila’s place at the University of Cambridge with a significant scholarship stands out as a remarkable accomplishment and an inspiration to younger students.

Across the cohort, students will go on to study a wide range of subjects including Medicine, Engineering, Law and Economics, reflecting both the diversity of talent and the personalised support they have received.
