Our Lunchtime Multilingualism Club is a welcoming space where children can relax, enjoy their home language, and share lunch together in a supportive environment. They are encouraged to converse in their first language, which helps them feel comfortable and proud of their multilingual identity, while also being invited to bring friends along to join in the fun. Through games and activities, children have the chance to practise and improve their English in a relaxed way, while still celebrating and connecting through their own language. The club aims to help pupils feel included, confident and less worried, all while enjoying the benefits of being multilingual.
