Our family has had a truly wonderful experience at The English College. The teachers are exceptionally dedicated, supportive, and committed to each child’s growth and success. What makes EC especially special is its strong sense of community. There is a warmth and inclusivity that makes families feel immediately at home. We couldn’t imagine a more supportive and inspiring place for our children to grow.

As parents, we feel truly grateful to be part of The English College family. What we value most is the school’s warmth, sense of community, and its deep commitment to every child’s growth. Head of Primary, Ms. Carmella, is simply amazing; her closeness to both parents and children creates such a nurturing and supportive environment. The teachers are wonderfully committed and always ready to help, going above and beyond to support the children. The Inclusion Team is one of the school’s greatest treasures, ensuring every child feels seen, valued, and empowered to succeed. Our children are happy, confident, and excited to go to school each day, which speaks volumes about the life and spirit of English College.

Celebrated, supported and inspired
I chose to join the English College as it’s the perfect environment for us to grow academically and personally. From the start, I’ve felt included with teachers who have always celebrated our achievements.

This is our family’s third year as part of the English College community and our two children, Alex (Y7) and Lily (Y9), have settled into secondary school life with ease and confidence. It is a joy to see them growing into kind and capable young adults. We are especially excited about the new STEAM building and the extra opportunities it brings to our children to expand their learning journey. The recent upgrades and expansions to school facilities clearly reflect EC’s commitment to providing the very best for its students. As parents, we greatly appreciate the open-door policy of the teachers and leadership team, where feedback is welcomed and concerns are addressed promptly. We also value the many community events and regular parent workshops, which allow us to stay connected and actively involved in school life. EC truly feels like a supportive, vibrant community for both students and parents and we look forward to seeing how the school continues to grow and inspire students in the years to come.

What we value most about the school is the open communication and strong cooperation between parents and staff. The team is always approachable, receptive to feedback, and genuinely willing to listen and work together for the children’s best. This makes us feel very supported as parents. Most importantly, it brings us great joy to see our children truly happy and excited to go to school every single day.

I was in EC for five years from Year 9 to Year 13 and I was the former head boy for 2024-2025. I received a trophy for being one of the top five students in Dubai as handpicked by Sheikh Hamdan and the KHDA. To get this achievement, I just had to get A stars in all my A levels, 4.5 A stars basically. And honestly, getting this award feels so surreal. bIt genuinely feels like such a unexpected award, but a very welcome one. I couldn't have done this without EC honestly, and I really do miss being the head boy of EC. But better things are yet to come in Inshallah. I'll be studying at NYU Abu Dhabi with a major in Computer Science, minor in mathematics, and a minor in Economics.

Legacy, safety & global citizenship
We were very impressed by how The English College had stood the test of time. We've loved how our psychological safety is not a concept, but the norm, while continuously challenging children to be the best version of themselves, and prioritize being good global citizens.
