Students shine with top Global Honours in Pearson Awards 2024

The English College, Dubai earned a remarkable 34 awards in the 2024 Pearson Edexcel examinations.

Students from The English College, part of the International Schools Partnership (ISP), have achieved outstanding success in the 2024 Pearson Edexcel Awards, securing 22 High Achiever Awards and 12 Outstanding Pearson Learner Awards. These prestigious accolades recognise top-performing students across Pearson Edexcel International GCSE, GCSE, AS-level, and A-level examinations.

Nine students received the distinguished “Highest in the World” title, while others earned “Top in the Region” and “Top in the Country” awards, reflecting the school’s academic excellence on both regional and global scales.

Among the honourees were Asmi (English Literature), Daniela (Drama and Theatre), Georgia (Mathematics), Laila (Biology), Malak (Business), Mia (English Literature), and Rita (English Language). Manuj earned exceptional distinction with two “Top in the World” awards in Chemistry and Mathematics, highlighting the strength of the College’s STEM programme.

Manuj commented: “I am truly honoured to receive these prestigious awards. Achieving the highest marks in the world would not have been possible without the exceptional support from my school and teachers. This recognition motivates me to continue pushing myself to excel in my academic journey and future pursuits.”
